Music Games and Boardgames for dyslexia
MeloDyslexia is the technology branch of Dyscovery, dedicated to creating accessible tools for children with dyslexia. Through play, we stimulate brain activity of different regions, helping children discover their strengths. Our music-based game improves eye movement for Chinese developmental dyslexia, and we design board games for neurodivergent communities. Partnering with dyslexia centers and Shenzhen University’s Neurolinguistics Lab, we connect cutting-edge research with practical solutions in healthcare and education.
We also collaborated with the frontline therapists and professionals to seek the best advice for the game logic and function design.
Dyslexia's Collaboration with Weining Dyslexia Center- "Literacy Without Handicaps: Dyslexia Development Plan" project- was selected as Tencent Technology Public Venture Capital Plan (Phase I), securing 30,000¥ fund support.
Early Screening and Diagnosis
HelloDyslexia is the social support branch of Dyscovery. We regularly conduct screenings and neurodiversity-focused, adventure-based learning in 281 urban villages. Dyscovery has identified 112 children with reading difficulties out of 1,500+ screened, transitioning 70% into community classes offering drama, art, math, literacy, and customized learning. We've also built a parent support community. Concerned parents can email us for a response within three business days.
We've installed audio tools and reading aids at Baixing Library and Shenzhen Book City to support children with reading challenges.
Education in Village, Camps and Escape Rooms
Dyscovery’s services reach every gap where they are needed. We are committed to ensuring that education does not become an over-manipulation of unique thinking. We create escape rooms in urban villages, where phonetic and visual learning is embedded into challenge-based experiences.
We've already hosted 5 escape room events across 5 districts specifically designed for neurodivergent communities, with excellent feedback. We plan to hold 7 more escape rooms activities during 24-26. Subscribe to our email for the latest updates.
